The laundry list behind a major-label album.

Complete album visuals for Sony Music Nashville — every platform, every spec, one mammoth shoot in the backwoods of North Idaho. ARRI ALEXA large format.

A major-label album launch isn't one deliverable. It's a laundry list: album art, motion album art, individual song visualizers, artist hero page art, album trailers for web and digital advertising — and every streaming platform needs its own specific assets. Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, Amazon Music. Each with its own canvas, its own specs. Miss one and the launch has a hole in it.

As Creative Producer and Co-founder of Inland Film Co., we took the entire production into the backwoods of North Idaho, where Colby Acuff grew up, where his songs live. We filmed and photographed everything on ARRI ALEXA large-format cameras with Signature Primes: the rivers I'd grown up photographing, the Western White Pine stands driving the song narratives.

One mammoth shoot in the landscape the music comes from. Then we turned that footage into the full visual ecosystem — per-song motion art, Vevo visualizers, trailers, social cutdowns, hero art. Colby wanted provocative, compelling imagery that forces introspection on internal conflict. That's what we built.

Scale is a creative discipline. Delivering a platform-perfect asset set from a single production — on time, on brand, on spec — is the same muscle a global brand campaign demands. This is what it looks like at full stretch.

Album Trailer.

IF COMPany worked with @sonynashville to make visuals for @colby_acuff ‘s newest country album; the stories in the songs all about The Great North Idaho Landscape, and we filmed most of it on the same rivers I’ve grown up photographing.

@inlandfilmco produced this visual project with director @mtchwllms, myself as DP, and @24fpsmax as much more than an AC (as always). Shot on our @arri Alexa Mini LF with @arri_rental Signature Primes.

Vevo visualizers.

Colby wanted provocative, compelling imagery to force introspection on internal conflict. Director Mitch Williams and I worked together to select locations along our favorite North Idaho rivers and creeks that showcased the Western White Pine trees driving the song narratives.
